After downloading the latest iDevices Connected app, every time you launch the iDevices Connected app, it will scan your local network for known iDevices Smart Home Products that need their firmware updated. If you see the purple download icon to the left of your Product, there is an available firmware update.
If your Wall Outlet is paired to both an iOS device and Android device you should only attempt to update the Wall Outlet from one of the devices.
Please note: The iDevices Connected app has to be running in the foreground throughout the entire update process. If the app is discontinued or the app is sent to the background, the update process will pause.
1. Each outlet will show "Update Available", tapping the purple download icon for one outlet will start the download process for both outlets.
2. Tap “Start” on the prompt to start the download and installation of the latest firmware.
